I must apologise for taking so long to reply, our computer broke down and I haven't been online in two weeks or so. Yes, I wanted/want to see those fics.
It was you that I found first, while looking for users with the interests 'anime' 'manga', etc. Plus, I've never known anyone from Australia, so I was a little curious to check out your LJ, and perhaps chat to you one day, if you seemed nice. ( You do, btw )
And there you have it.

No worries about the lateness (we can't all be holiday hermits like me) and my sympathy for being internetless. And possibly computerless, if you've only got one/couldn't borrow a replacement. (I'd die if my computer died. But I'd also stop wasting my life.)And ho-ho, the good news is, the fics are already up! :3 (But you probably knew that ( ... )

I've been both internetless and computerless, so it's a refreshing change to have them back. I'll go look at the fics, and most probably leave a comment.
Don't worry, I'm not an emo/kidnapper/pervert/pensioner or whatever other sinister characters you could meet online.
I haven't done it before; you're the first person I've found this way. I want to have friends from all over the world, so that one day I'll have contacts in nearly every country! Perhaps I could add you as a friend? I'd like to get to know you better, frankly.

Not heading for the hills, I see! Brave man. (?)

Heh. All right, I trust you.

Ah, you haven't. Internationalisation! A worthy goal. I'm waiting for the world to come to me. Which the Asian part is already doing, so! (Lots of Asian international students are coming to our universities, for some reason.)

Well, I hope your future friend-searching endeavours go well for you! And that you do not meet any sinister characters either. (Though I don't know what they could really do to you if you're no longer gullible and 13. Unless the emos ask you to critique their, er, poetry. Or their song lyrics. But I'm sure your mental fortitude is up to the task?)

Add away! I'm always happy to make new friends. So to start: you already know I'm living down under. Which part of the world are you standing on?

You might be unsure if I'm a brave man, but I myself am pretty sure about my masculinity, and courage, in most circumstances.

I'm from Ireland. Feel free to check out my profile, while I add you.

Sadly, I have learned the hard way never to make assumptions about gender, either online or in real life. This is what anime conventions has done to me. Also some Asian male singers. T_T

Aha, your profile. Now, that would've helped.

I see you are a Garth Nix fan! That certainly brings back memories. I don't know how many times I borrowed and re-borrowed Sabriel from the library before it got hold of Lirael. Which was emphatically not as soon as it came out. (Underfunded, our school library was.)

Hehe, cosplay does often blur the line between male and female. Ash Ketchum becomes Haruhi Suzumiya all too quickly.

Yeah, Garth Nix is my favourite author atm, although I was a little disappointed with his latest, "Superior Saturday," which I feel lacked the magic and adventure of the other books in that series. That..essence, was in short supply in SS.
