as far as this other person you have found that is a shining star in your life now, if you think that there is a future between you two you should go for it. i want you to be happy, even if it's not with me. but if we are to be friends, i only ask one thing of you. if you decide that there is a future with this other girl, don't talk about it if i'm around. it would be too hard for me to see you happier with someone else than you were with me. i don't want to sound selfish, but i just don't want to get hurt again right away. i'm sorry that i gave those miserable times. i'm sorry that i couldn't make you as happy as you should have been. but i do think the times we had together, at least the good ones, are worth remembering. don't forget me. i know i won't forget you. don't regret me. i know i don't regret you. i regret what i've done, yes. but i don't regret you. i wish i could have put everything into our relationship. the wrong time seems to haunt us with whatever we do. i'm sorry for hurting you. i hope that you can get everything you want in life. and i wish that i could be there next to you. but if it's not supposed to happen, i guess it won't. i don't know what else to say. i do love you. and i'm sorry.
