never again

so last night i swear i almost had a near-death experience. it was scary. i was lying on my bed, and my roommate anick and my friend rena were trying, unsuccessfully, to throw burnt popcorn pieces into my mouth. so they missed about a million, times, until anick threw the darkest charcoal piece of popcorn i have ever laid my eyes on. so it hits my face, and i start laughing really hard, because we were basically in hysterics already, and then i start choking on the piece of popcorn that was in my mouth, but it just made me laugh more which made me choke more, and i honestly thought i was going to have to perform the heimlich on myself...but then i choked it up. it was funny/scary.i am on my spare right now at school, and i am about to go out to the town to see this new festival....i swear there has literally been at least 5 festivals here in the past two weeks....it's some huge celebration period here in lanciano...i mena the town is small...it has like 40 000 people, but as soon as these festivals come, all of the sudden there are millions of italians all pushing and shoving and speaking italian..it's very overwhelming/really cool. but i am going to go enjoy it now...apparently this one has something to do with farmers bringing in their crops and then they auction them tonight and then there's this big light festival...it looks pretty cool, and it must be pretty big because the power was out in the whole town this morning because of it. should be good.
