semi formal saturday night. so much fun. the most fun i've ever had at a dance before for sure...though the prom after party was pretty great too. it's a close race. highlight of the night was definitely when prof (our italian teacher) came, and loucia and i (after a few glasses of wine- i love that we get alcohol at school functions) persuaded her to dance with us. it was great...i'm definitely going to miss these people.
loucia and isa...what ladies. despite my facial expression, i really wasn't disgusted. ha.
aww
surprisingly only one of these noys is taken (alex in the yellow-he's isa's). yes that's right ladies, the rest are all highly availabvle . place your bets....please note seans handlebar moustache....i'm undecided if it's an improvement or not from the full grown beard. oh the joys of facial hair.
we just wouldn't be us without a spilled glass.
prof. dancing. so cute.
anne, fran, johanna, jessa, and lou
this from florence but i love it. len, lou and i. how perfect.
hahahahahah. lou and i before the play. yes, we were both men. (the only two in the play, other than the one boy who played a gay interior decorator...good thing we are such amazing actresses). lou was a neurotic psychiatrist, and i was a pompous lawyer.too funny.
we got advent calandar cards from the fam. yesterday. thanks kate and tess. i heart you.
there's a huge national holiday tomorrow, so everything here is closed and all of the churches are open tonight. and when i say all of the churches i mean tons. this town is full;...this whole country is full. it's cool. they also have this nativity scene display under the main piazza. it's suppossed to be amazing-it's a contest, with mostly high school students. we are going to go next week with our art class. it's weird not being at home for the christmas anticipation. there's not nearly as much buildup here...well there is, but in a different way. there are lights everywhere, and these little potted christmas trees all over town. it's so pretty. but i'm looking forward to coldness and snow and (i never thought i'd say it) the consumerism buildup. i know, i'm horrible, but i miss advertisements and mall decorations!!. mmm.
