happy thanksgiving

happy thanksgiving! i hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend. unfortunately we do not have the holiday off, so i am speding this years thanksgiving at school. woo-hoo. however, we are being allowed the pleasure of a thinksgiving dinner tonight at the allegria. at least it's something. but i would rather be with my family in cape cod having the holiday of their life without louch and i tagging along! just kdding fam...we know you miss us desperately. october is my favourite month. i'm a little upset to be missing it in canada... there hasn't bveen much change in the weather here except for a slight drop in temperature. but no orange and red leaves. it's a little bit sad. but i went for a tremendoulsy long run on saturday into the valley ( i hadn't gone that way before) and it was incredible. i felt like i was in a fairy tale. i was on this really windy road that wound in and out of vineyards and italian farm houses and vegetable gardens. i actually started laughing it was so beautiful. and when i turned around i could see the whole town of lanciano up on the hill...it was incredible. it's going to be my new favourite thing to do...going to the valley. i'll take some pictures.
i burned this cd from my friend kristyn last night...it was just a random c.d. that looked cool. anyways i am listening to it and this song just came on (you're still you) and it was the song that the girls from my dance studio danced to at madeleines memorial service. it's the only time i've ever heard the song. it was an incredibly moving dance. she was so young. i'm praying for her family this weekend more than ever. it must be rough.
love always, alex
I will remember you and what life put you though. And in this cruel and lonely world, I found one love, you’re still you.
