horray for water!!
The city turned off the water on our block yesterday afternoon. I guess there was a main break across the street or something. It sure sucked having no running water. Ariel and I went to Henry's house to fill up the fridge jug. When we got home I noticed the water trailer the city had put on the street. That maded things a little easier, but I still had to fill up ice cream pails just to flush the toilet! Ariel didn't get to bathe last night and I didn't get to shower... The water still wasn't on when Crissy needed to get ready for work so she had to go to her mom's place. Not cool. But I guess these things happen sometimes.
I was working with my old foreman (from the wind towers) the last couple of days. I guess he's done at the towers too and is finally going to be indentured as an apprentice. I'm pretty sure that if I was still at the towers right now I would be the new foreman, but I think I'd rather pursure this electrician thing. I've only invested about $10G's in it so far...
We're going back to the Light Source tomorrow. We have to pull wire through the pipes Kirk and I ran the pas couple of weeks. Then back to the shop for more stock room stuff... They want to get everything organized and correctly documented before we move the shop to the new location.
Crissy has the next few days off work! YAY!! I actually get to see her for more than one day this week!!
Our old landlord better fricken pay us our damage deposit refund soon. They've got an order from the rentalsman to do so... It has the same authority as a court order. VISA just called today and demanded a payment... That payment has to come out of the cheque I normally use entirely for rent. stupid old landlord...
