Drama Drama Drama at school today. The guy who is in charge of the computer classes for my course came by today to discuss what was happening in the class. Apparently no one is passing the class right now because no one is handing in assignments. But I guess they are handing in assigmnents, the drive they map to just keeps being deleted. So it appears that the assignments aren't handed in. I think that's a problem at IR, so I'm pretty sure that the guy will be speaking to them. Then there was the issue about no one showing up for the first class. No one was informed of where the class was, and everyone we asked didn't know what was going on. Half of them didn't even know that there was an electrican program at Kelsey. The SIAST guy said that a person with real problem solving skills would have found out where the classroom was and would have made an effort to be in class.. What a bunhc of bullshit. People were asking everyone at Kelsey, and walking all over the school trying to find where the class was.
I'm not taking the computer class, kuz I have credit for it, obviously... So I don't have to deal with that. I had to deal with another issue. I filed an application for transfer of credit from the CST course I took, which I know is enough for a transfer of credit. But apparently, the computer class hasn't been entered as a class that any of the electricians are taking. So the registrar's office couldn't tranfer credit to a course that I'm not registered in... I talked to Rod the SIAST guy about it yesterday, and apparently it's all gonna be fixed.
I got 93% on my electrician exam that we had on Friday. I got 3 questions wrong and after looking at the exam, I should have gotten them right.. They were silly mistakes that I could have avoided if only I had been a little more careful. The same thing with my Math exam... I got 97% and I could have gotten 100% had I only been more careful. Stupid grrr... teh guys in my class don't understand why I'm complaining about a 97% or a 93%, but if it's stupid errors that I made and I could have just as easily gotten 100%, of course I'm going to complain...
Brad and Nancy are on their way over. I think this is the last time we're gonna get to see them before they move to BC. They're moving in about a week I think... We haven't had any time to hang out really since the baby's been born. We've all been soo busy the last while.
