I am always amazed how, at critical moments, certain things happen and just click. Today it was Taylor Swift Red album playing on the road from Pokhara back to Kathmandu and a Russian song called I Want to be the Wind. It summarized exactly how I feel at this moment in my life. In the Himalayas, so close to Heaven, and at the same time US pulling me, reminding me where my home is. Feelings don't have a language. Whether it's Nepali, English or Russian, words are just sounds we use to describe events and feelings that occur not in any particular language but in the world and in life. Language is just something we use after the fact to describe what happened. Love, having fun, mountains and rivers, emotions. These things exist outside of any particular language we might use to describe them.
wind,
himalayas,
heaven,
home
