My Hawaii and New York dreams are slowly coming together. I am planning them under the An model of putting a lot of thought and planning into travel and leading a beautiful life: checking opening hours, making reservations, planning which wings i will visit in which museum. Mainly the impressionist wing at the Met. On the Hawaii trip, the thing I am excited about most is paddling on Kailua Bay out to the tiny but beautiful Na Mokulua/Mokulua Islands. On the New York trip, I most look forward to feeling the strong gay undercurrent that I feel exists there, like walking into a bookstore and seeing Butt Magazine on display when you first walk in, or the knowledge that Puerto Rican guys are having loud, wild sex wearing red skateboard shoes in alleys around the city. It's true, I saw it on xtube.
