Clint and Jeni's Wedding Plans
Well, I was in charge of the photos, wedding cake, and tuxedos for my little brothers 21st of December wedding. Earlier in the month Clint called me crying, telling me Jeni called off the wedding because they weren't on the same "spiritual page". Of course Clint was devistated, not knowing what she meant. Right now Clint is in Virginia doing some training.
Well, this news was both a relief and a disappointment. A relief because I really want them both to be completely sure of the decision to be married. I mean, not all problems will or can be worked out BEFORE marriage. Marriage is a constant live long growing process. I am just glad that she said "whoa, wait a minute" now instead of after the I Do's. The cancellation was a disappointment because there were a lot of family, including myself that wanted to see them married. But, again, I'm glad they are taking baby steps now to get to know eachother more.
Shortly after the cancellation, Clint and Jeni had some long talks, which in return, made Clint feel much better. He felt he had lost her, but he didn't. Its just postponed.
