Poor Renji, aha, always sent away in this series. But Byakuya can trust him to deal with that stuff while he deals with something only he can - Ulquiorra. *_*

I do have a larger picture in mind in this verse, which may not ever be fleshed out. I think it stands fairly well as it is, and any further installations will be in the same vein, a series of snapshot moments with implications toward the rest. But here they've been working around this intense attraction, and after the battle they can't fight it anymore. Mmm! In control and strong, and yet somehow helpless to resist the grip of their passion. (I just love that sort of thing!)

And of course they're always elegant and refined (as much as two guys making out in the mud can be!).

Shelagh certainly did enjoy it. She spent a good hour with her jaw on the floor, ahaha! :D I could barely get a full sentence out of her for at least 15 minutes. *giggle*
