The parallels to the SS Renji-Ichigo fight were awesome enough, but the end, oh yeah, hubby and I both cheered. Go Renji! Go Ichigo!
So, it looks like they're all going to have to win back their zanpakutou in their own way. Rukia by voluntarily freeing Sode no Shirayuki (which I think would've worked if Muramasa hadn't interfered). Ichigo by accepting who he is, all of it. Renji by proving his courage and determination to get stronger no matter what. I can't wait to see this all play out, to see how everyone comes back together again. OMG so much win!
