[But he cannot deny what he’s become. This ego of his bloats when the spotlight is on him and his pokemon. Ruby thinks he and his pokemon are the best thing ever. And they are, don’t deny it. You know it’s true. He is quite awesome.]

[Ruby messed up. He reacted like he would have as a child. Sure, he saved Sapphire from rampaging Grumpigs but now she knows the truth. Ruby knows how to battle- quite well actually. He did it out of instinct though- had Nana use Take Down to save his rival friend. He let out his horrible secret- feels the shame of it. Ruby knows it’s not him- something just took over.]

[She called him out on it. Asked him to help her and the Gym Leaders. And he refused and she got pissed. She threw his beautiful handmade clothes at him (and nearly got an eyeful of naked girl but whatever MY CLOTHES) She flew away. He punched a tree- it kinda hurt. She was asking him to fight, to revert back to being this….awful thing.]

[Everything is falling apart. Sapphire doesn’t ever want to see him. Mimi is gone. Master has scolded him harshly for his selfishness. The world is in chaos, a war against basic nature and preservation. He can see her disappointed face. He can see Mimi at her prime. He can see Master’s displeased eyes. Ruby failed to please everyone like he needed to do. Lightning streaked the sky and he opened his eyes. He would help them. There was nothing left to lose.]

[Finding out Sapphire was the girl he’d protected (and in his mind hurt) from a Salamence when they were kids was shocking. Disbelief is what grips his heart first: this wild girl who he’s called barbarian from the get-go is the same girl in frills that had captured his heart since childhood? An emotion that he can’t quite describe takes hold next: This works out perfectly. He likes her too. And then he went blathered it out to her. Fastforward when the crisis is done and over with: holy crap what did I just do? I can’t handle this emotion just yet. I’m still a kid. What Salamence incident?]

I hope you enjoy this. :) Ruby was surprisingly hard. I mean, all he seems to be is sparkles and omg i was a barbarian. He was harder than Sapphire! /shakes fist
I guess I'll do either Silver or Crystal next. =)
