Holiday, Job and rants
Well both me and Jill had a good holiday last week in Tenerife soaking up the sun, eating and drinking.
Although I did have my sun factor 45 lotion on to protect me from an evil tan, well not really I don't tan I take
a Scottish tan of going red then peeling :(
Highlights of the week included many scrummy meals and drinking many refreshing pints of beer, doing nothing apart from
eating and drinking, oh and did I mention eating and drinking. Needless to say I am now on a diet to get back to my slim self :)
Rants ahead..........
The airline we had our flights booked with charged for extra leg room which I think is a tad unfair for tall people. Jill wasn't prepared to pay the extra money and I have to say I agree as the flights weren't full so that late short people got allocated these seats free of charge since these were the only seats that were left. grrrrr
Also on the second last night I got the cold and got sore ears on descending back into Glasgow,on the return flight, with the results I could hardly hear the next day.
I have to thank Jill for putting up with an irritable Scott.....
Also I still haven't got my starting date for my new job because of the sheer laziness of the HR departments within NHS......
Looking forward to Dark City, must remember to buy tickets before the event
