Mondays are one of my worst days. Seriously. Class from 8:30-11:30am, 2:30-5:30, 6-8. I never go to film because I download them all but still! 6 hours of literature! Whew!
Buuuuut Hot French Professor still makes me swoon. I love Mondays because I get to gaze at that wonderful face and listen to his intelligent lectures.
I was stupid though and accidentally quit my lecture notes without saving...ARGH. I'll have to photocopy them from someone. Le sigh. I am dumb.
Also! Reading La Dame aux Camellias, I discovered that Moulin Rouge is a liberal adaption. The book is infinitely better. Also, À Une Passante by Baudelaire still haunts me everywhere. It was the poem I did my BAC Blanc in France, had to re-read in Into to French Lit in second year and now in my 4th year 19th Century lit. Seriously. I love Baudelaire like nobody's business but that poem reminds me of how hard I was on myself academically (and how much of a failure I felt) while I was there.
La douceur qui fascine et le plaisir qui tue.
True words.
I love Monday nights because they're Lala nights. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind seeing people but I feel like I've been so busy trying to successfully manage work, 6 courses and a social life. I am exhausted. Mondays are Lala-only days. Barry, Michael and I usually do our own thing today. Totally respecting everyone's space and all that jazz.
It is a lovely relief. I need more though.
I have a "Lala does whatever she wants weekend planned" What does that mean exactly? Well! It basically entails, Me...doing what I want. Which is nothing. I want to be at home with Boss (whether it be at his place or mine), taking it easy. No real plans, nothing. I want to stay in bed for an entire day. I have this "Staycation" planned for Saturday February 5th- 7th.
No communication with the outside world. It will be freaking fantastic!!
Before that, I want OSAP to go through sooo bad because I promised Jordamanin a rain check on me visiting her place/going to a restaurant together. I also desperately need to go shopping for clothes...jeans mostly, some nice sweaters, sneakers, and outdoor shoes.
I am looking forward to the month of February!
Also! This weekend I took Boss on a date. We went Rock Climbing at Rock Oasis. It was my first time actually rock climbing which was absolutely exhilarating! My heart was beating so fast and I over exerted myself so my arms gave out. It hurts soo good to have a fun work out. Belay-ing isn't as difficult as I though. The rock climbing difficulty levels are on crack. I would definitely go again!
Must write essay. I will accomplish mah mission.
Also: I rekindled my love for She Wants Revenge. *swoon*
Peace, love and chocolate chip cookie dough!
ME!
