Woot for the weekend!

What a weekend I had. Las Vegas is awesome.

Friday we got up early and went to the airport around 3:30am-ish. Our flight left at 7am our time and we landed in Las Vegas early morning. We had a room at Mandalay Bay and good LORD is that hotel beautiful. I didn't care much for the casino floor.. too many people. Friday night we ate at a place called Red White and Blue. Food there was good, but the milkshake was the BEST!

Saturday was the most eventful day. We went bowling with Hoobastank at around 12pm to 2pm or so. Got some things signed and got some pictures taken ((will post when I get them)). Then after bowling Marc and I walked around the strip a bit, didn't go too far. It was hotter then I had anticipated, and I was already tired. Later that night was the concert. It was around 7pm and it was awesome. Hinder opened, then Chevelle, then Hoobastank (They rocked, always do!) then was Nickleback and damn were they good. I really liked all the pyrotechnics and fireworks. It really was a good show. I now have a better taste for Nickleback.

Sunday is the day left, so we didn't do much other then walk around the airport allot XD

That's it for my weekend in Las Vegas. When I get some pics, I'll post them.

Yesterday my parents prepared me for the end of the world. They are leaving for a week to go visit Matt on the other side of the country. It's the first time they BOTH have left me alone for a week. Before it was just them camping and that was all.. like 30 minuets away. Now it's more in the ballpark or 4 hours and should the house start flooding or lose power I know all the buttons to push and knobs to turn.

Today I got a wake-up call from one of my best friends from high school and we hung out today. It was good to see her and her fiance again. It's funny that you never really understand how much you've missed someone til you see them again. I saw his mother again, I saw her mother, brother and one of her sisters again and it was like a blast from the past. I'm glad I got to spend some time with her before she went back to college.

Things are going good so far and I hope for the rest of the week my luck keeps up with me.
