I'm so pissed off at the moment that it's not even funny.
Beware if you have yet to watch IM3 or if you don't like anger induced ranting.
So. I don't even know where to start from.
WHAT THEACTUAL FLYING FUCK?!
Do they have any idea of what they are doing in that writing department or they simply decided to not give a fuck and send anything canon and right and everything that IS Iron Man down the toilet?
I was so excited. So happy I was finally seeing it that I don't know how to cope with the disappointment. And I'm not even joking.
Tony Stark, without the Arc reactor.
Ha. Double Ha.
How is that even considered acceptable?! This is a fucking joke.
Now, I know that most people aren't familiar with the comics but for fuck's sake even if you lived under a rock you must know even just the basics about Extremis. Or about Tony and Potts? Or about PTSD and panic attacks actually work?
I'm still waiting for the punchline.
Because no, Tony, you're not Iron Man anymore. You're Pott's man and a sad excuse for a copy of Tony Stark.
In those extra moments, I was waiting for him to say something about a publicity stunt or something but the reactor simply isn't there.
"Plot" aside, I'm still baffled at how badly the story is developed. Those "comic relief" scenes? Not only unnecessary, but after the 3rd I started wondering what the writer and director were on when they decided that splitting every fucking dramatic sequence with "funny moments" was needed, acceptable, and not completely stupid.
And yeah, the dear diary narrative style? Absolutely new and exciting. Especially when you conclude the movie with a wrap-up, a summary of everything that's happened after the big booms and special effects (an. they forced me to stop writing summaries at the end of my writings when I was in 5th grade).
Wow, wow. I don't know, there are so many things that went wrong with this movie that I can't decide if I'd better be angry (and I'm leaning towards that, clearly) or disappointed.
I have no idea how they're going to pull it off in an acceptable way in the next movies for Avengers and co.
Cherry on top? Italian dubbing was shaky at best, and completely unacceptable the rest of the time.
I don't know if I can withstand the idea of re-watching it, even if it'd be with the original RDJ and Jarvis voices.
Now I really don't know if to keep my hopes up for STID and Thor or just stop giving a fuck.
