and as an added bonus-- whenever someone disses you in ________ language, you can always insult them right back..? LOL!

a language shouldn't be learned for a dumb reason like that, but it comes in handy~ some people assume i don't know any chinese and bash me in front of me in my own language LOL. i just find it amusing that they don't understand that i actually know what they're saying! LOL XD~

and another korean girl called me an "idiot" in korean once. apparently, i accidentally hit her leg with a part of my chair @_@;; i said "sorry," but i guess it wasn't enough? XD?

(American)English is the most bastardized, senseless language that I know of to date. No really--while other languages stalk other languages down dark alleys to steal their lunch money, we stalk other languages down dark alleys to beat them up, take their lunch money, probably rape them and then defecate on what's left.

not really; all languages are special in their own aspects... "English > all languages" kinda parallels saying that one race is better than the other.

and popularity- wise, chinese is the most widely spoken language in the world (not saying that it's better because of that, though =D~)

oh yes! Geography at its finest--Mandarin Chinese is the world language...partially due to the fact that China & India contain about 1/2 of the world's population.

But you're right...the anthropologist in me says: "No language is better than another." For exactly the same reason you stated.
