Plurk killed my LJ + December update
Wow... it feels like I haven't posted in a long time. I haven't been able to use the home computer for a while like this and it seems like the best opportunity. *edit* wow took me 1 and a half hours for this entry.
It's nearly christmas and the year is about to end.
I have work in a few hours and oh... I don't work for AT&T-Accenture anymore. I work for Cisco now.
Dec 12 - CVG XMas party
I am part of the EET (Employee Engagement Team) so I was part of the Event Organizer's staff.
I was assigned to the Soul Shop area. What I would do is to assist the "Top" people in getting their extra rewards which were a batch of moist chocolate crinkles and a photo booth session.
I only got to watch two performances. AT&T Ortigas' Evita remix and Managers&Up's High School Musical rendition.
It was pretty cool that I knew the people performing and that they really prepared to give us an entertaining show. After the performances, I went back to the Soul Shop station and noticed that some people came on in without registering so I went in and reminded them that they also have additional souvenirs. :) As I got out and was going back to my station, I saw O1 and she was looking for her TL. I saw this as a perfect opportunity to do my assignment and escorted her to the Soul Shop since it was in fact her TL that I was reminding that they had souvenirs.
By 9pm I was packing up and ready to leave for work.
Dec 13 - Cisco XMas party
This one was located at OM Poy's Mansion at Ayala Heights. Got up to meet people at GMA 5Pm but we left to head for the party at 7pm since we were waiting for the late arrivals.
We arrived at the party and people were already singing videoke and eating dinner. We joined in on the dinner and had a merry time.
We had some games like "Hip Hip Hooray" which closely resembled the "7-Up" game just with different words, actions and somebody with a microphone was controlling the direction of the game. We also played Charades ISSO team VS APAC team. ISSO won by a mile. Exchange gift time and the one who got my name flew out of the country but left the gift in Tina's care which was nice. The APAC's Gadget raffle was fun to watch as it looked like everyone conspired so that old fart(whom nearly everyone found obnoxious) would get to pick the last gadget. The gadgets were 1 Sony PSP, 3 Digital Cameras , and 4 of the newest 16 Gb iPod nanos
Starbucks after the party and stupid Baristas never seem to get my order right.
I said Frap-White Chocolate-Venti
I got received a White Mocha. at least they have it in frap mode instead of iced like before last time. I'll be sticking to Vanilla once again from now on.
Dec 14 - Team BG XMas party
This party was at Mark's house at Antipolo. Meeting place was in front of Robinson's-Equitable tower. I got there on time. Saw Nina and Jess waiting right outside. after around an hour we were more or less complete so we journeyed to Antipolo. Traffic sucked. We went up and down a few mountain roads but we got there in one piece. The place felt a bit cramped though there was a good amount of parking space. Karaoke again and this time there were hard drinks. I had 1 shot of a vodka cruiser mix(it was red so I assume it was cherry) and 1 glass of spiked fruit punch. I didn't get to sing Voltes V since TL BG stole it from me. =( Exchange gift time, I didn't think I was a part of it since I was Fatima's special guest. She gave me a Pikachu figurine and a kiss. Fatima got wasted and puked a total of 3 times. She cried a lot that night.
Dec 17 - Lantern parade w/ Fatima
Went to the UP Lantern Parade w/ Fatima last Wednesday.
our 1pm meetup turned to 4pm. I killed 2 hours at the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and various parts of the Robinson's Galleria mall.
We travelled to UP via Fairview bound Bus and a Jeepney at Philcoa.
We saw cool lanterns ; my stupid camera picked a really bad time to get broken.
We walked a lot to look for the UP Visayas group since Fatima was an alumna of UPV.
We ate the Visayan food and the people there talked Ilonggo or something.
We saw the fireworks.
After all that, we headed home so we took a Katipunan jeepney ride and then waited forever for a taxi that would take us home.
We got home in a short while since traffic was not heavy. I apologized to her since my room was really messy. I lent her our phone so she could call home and she noticed it was Bellsouth brand. We watched "My Little Bride" (got my copy from mistervader) She cried at the end. I gave her an advanced XMas present and it looked like she loved it since she was hugging it real tight as she was sleeping. I watched her sleep. I woke up and she was stretching her arms as if she just woke up. I walked her on the way to Ortigas and left her in a cab.
Looks like I'm taking her to the UP Fair this Valentines week.
Dec 20 - Mafiagang XMas party
The party is at Chester's Residence at Montgomery Village. I hitched a ride with the Manasans from McDo Q.Ave; Raven was driving. We arrived at 8pm w/ a calltime of 7pm hehe. We watched Hot Fuzz over pizza and had Sansrival for dessert. Exchange gift was sort of different we had a White Elephant Gift Exchange. I ended up with a Star Wars lego imperial dropship thing which was cool. we then watched people Carcassone and things wrapped up by arond 2am.
