Yesterday my Mother and I went to Yorktown Stage to see Gypsy. I really liked it and so did my Mother. We then went to Friendlys for dinner.
Today at camp was Jersey Day. Aimee (when I reminded her yesterday) realized she didn't have her jersey with her. This is the second time she's missed her favorite day. We both don't see how we could have worn them anyway with this year's new staff shirt rule.
This morning while we were waiting for our kids I was telling her about Gypsy. We've decided I should become a stripper like Gypsy. (The play's about a girl who eventually becomes a stripper.) Did you know she was a real person? I find that kind of awesome. Gypsy Rose Lee. She was a cleaner stripper, not sleazy, and she ended up being pretty famous.
I had a parent come up to me and start yelling about how her daughter never comes to camp because three girls won't play with her. (The three who I have issues with....) Also that they are cursing at her daughter and such. So... I told Theresa and we had a meeting (Which I had to go find Theresa for.) and I don't think it helped at all but I really don't care. Alyssa made new friends and hung out with them all day. The mother was complaining about how Alyssa never goes to camp because of them and that she spent the same amount of money as the parents. I honestly don't care. If you paid... Then send your daughter to camp. There is more people in the group than those three girls. I hate parents. Plus the fact that I'm supposed to catch this behavior when she is never there. I thought it was rude that at pickup she said in front of the girls that they're trouble makers. Well... Here comes the war of the parents.
Aimee wants to have a kid and raise it to be evil. So she could come back and enroll into Sycamore and let Kerry be the counselor. Muwaha.
I finally got my paycheck for my first two weeks of working there. (It's the beginning of the fourth week.) I hate taxes. The check still made me happy though.... I cashed it on the way home. I've decided I need to get a job in the middle of the year.
