I've been watching Into The West every Friday night for the past six weeks. Every Friday night I've sat on my bed and cried while watching it. Tonight was the finale and I cried as I do every Friday night. The mini series was about Americans moving into the West and how the Indians suffered. It focused on one family, the Wheelers, and the lives of their children and extended family. I thought it was an amazing show and I want to buy it on DVD when it comes out in October. I really enjoyed it.
Today at camp we took the kids to Splashdown. They were pretty good and we went on most of the things. They built a new wave pool and new steep slide thing. Aimee and I went on the steep slide thing together and we both freaked out. We both closed our eyes going down and when we reached the top of the other side we both opened them and Aimee screamed. (I was already screaming.) The trip really was a lot of fun. I got carsick on the way there though but my girls wouldn't leave me alone so I felt even more terrible. They don't seem to understand the term, "I don't feel good so I'm going to close my eyes."
