Hawaiian Day.
Today was Hawaiian day and if I haven't mentioned it before it is my absolute favorite day of camp. I dressed up in my rainbow hula skirt, put a flower in my hair, and wore a lei. Oh yes. I looked awesome if I do say so myself. I'd post pictures but that would require me taking a picture with my webcam of the printed picture from my digital camera and I haven't even printed them yet. Maybe I'll do it when I'm bored.
Aimee dressed up also in a Hawaiian printed skirt. Alanna was a complete loser and didn't dress up at all. Joni pulled out a lei when she approached me this morning with my mouth open ready to say something about her non-Hawaiian appearance and said, "See. Now you can't yell at me. I'm participating in your favorite day!!!" Then she walked away laughing while she was putting it on.
Aimee, Alanna, and I played limbo with the girls. Somehow someone stretched out one of the leis. I don't know how that happen since I just got back with my group from getting sherbert. Later we did the hula dance and most of my girls got prizes for costumes and dancing. Most of them dressed up!!! I was happy. A couple of them wouldn't participate but oh well.
I had tap class today with Mary. We ate Chinese before and Carvel after. I'm really enjoying the class. I think Mary and I have improved a lot since the last class. I really like the dance we're doing and the song has a really fast beat. I'm in love with fast beats. My feet were killing me by the end of class though and I really need to wear thinner socks. I love tap.
