Poor guy. Poor you having to clean! haha. I cleaned my eyeball--I used the travel bottle with Woolite instead of contact solution in my case. didn't know it until I put the contact in my eye the next morning and it stung like bejeezus. Got it out fast, washed out my eye while I had Dad call Poison Control. They said it was just mild soap so it should be okay but if it still hurt in 45 minutes to go to the ER. I had a seminar at Woodwinds at 8:00 that day, which is why I was putting in contacts so early. I finally decided to head down there and if my eye was fine I'd go to my seminar and if it hurt I'd hit the ER first. It felt fine when I got there, so went to my 4 hour seminar. About 3 hours into it, my eye started hurting and watering. Guess the tylenol and ibuprofen I'd taken for a sinus headache had masked the eye pain until it wore off. After the seminar I went into the ER. Somehow in all the panic getting my contact out, I scratched my cornea and that is why it hurt so much. It was horrible--they gave me a prescription for vicodin but I didn't want to fill it cuz I figured it would be better by the next day. What I didn't realize was the massive quantities of ibuprofen and tylenol I would have to take instead! But it was better the next day. What a day!!!!!!!
Have fun with the bug proofing!! Hope they don't all come out of the walls trying to get away!!
