Tidal wave of sangria

We are enjoying spring in Copenhagen to the fullest! Friday, after studio, Vicki, Sarah and I went shopping in a bunch of little boutique shops around the city center. It was fun to go to shops that weren't on Strøget. We then went home, changed and went out to the DIS party at the Happy Pig bar. That was fun for awhile but I wasn't really a fan of the high school atmosphere.

So after a couple hours at the Happy Pig, we decided to head to our old favorite, Heidi's. It's a little German bar where you're guaranteed to meet and talk to new people. And we found a dance floor upstairs! The music they played was hysterical, and I actually enjoyed dancing for two hours straight. A couple of our TA's were out too and we danced with them for awhile. I love Heidi's! It's such a nice environment there.

Yesterday I slept until 4pm, then met up with my friends at Kongens Have ("King's Garden") to sit in the park, drink sangria, and get some henna. I have not laughed that much in a loooong time. When that was over, a few of us went to Sarah's kollegium and grilled some amazing concoctions with some other DIS peeps. We had grilled pineapple slices, peppers, chicken, and pølser.

And now I have to clean my kollegium kitchen. And my room. What a way to cap off my weekend!
