Peace be with you + love your neighbor? (Possibly riffing on the traditional Passing of the Peace?) Maybe some sort of implication of community outreach?

Well, Jesus did say "peace be with you" a few times in the lectionary reading for today. But what that has to do with the houses? I think I'l have to bring it up at staff meeting tomorrow.

Note that one house has a white roof, and one a black roof, but otherwise they're exactly the same.
