Since when? Thursday?!? [/obscureZBSreference]
49 out of 50 states are going to be going "golly gee, that sucks for California" over this "True Fact", while the one state left over is going to be going "WHAAAAAAAAT???"
In other meaningless news, in the wake of the VU re-releases of Sierra's Quest games, here's an except from a post from somebody playing a 20-year-old PC game for the first time:
when i downloaded it the game look like a picture that has been blown up , i see all the pixels, like the games are made of squares.i can't see the peoples faces in the games.police quest and kings quest are doing this.doe's any one else have this problem?
Ah, to be that young and oblivious to the way things were 20 years ago...makes me feel like the baby boomers whose kids look at vinyl records and say, "Gee, these CDs sure are big!"
Lastly, I made
another Sierra On-Line music video (9 MB, .wmv) out of a bunch of Sierra On-line's intro screens/movies in roughly chronological order, from the early 80s to the late 90s, all strung together (with multiple variations on the Sierra logo towards the very end).
I decided to use some music that wouldn't irritate as many people as the "Over My Head" video did and was slightly more well known. I'm sure a good number of sci-fi fans have heard the first and second verse of this song, but I used the third verse in this video.
The subject matter of the video, incidentally, has nothing to do with what the song is associated with...except for a few outer space scenes, a robot and a dolphin.
