well...
My birthday was fine, I survived and am now 21. I had to battle off more people then i figured on. Since i didn't want to go to a bar didn't want to get drunk didn't want any of that, FINALLY got that through people's heads. Sad to realize that most just couldn't understand why not.
Went to a wedding today of a cousin whom i have seen maybe twice. It was mainly because the rest of my family was forced to go that I went---for some reason they thought it wouldn't have been fair if i didn't have to go.
Followed my sis from East Lansing going to Hillsdale. That was quite the adventure. We ended up having an extra hour before we needed to be there and she missed both Jackson exits before calling and asking if she should have gotten off there to buy the boys some new dress shoes. So we continued down the highway until we finally got to Spring Arbor where we turned around and i led back to Kohls. It is always interesting being a leader... especially when driving.
Upside I got the CUTEST PURSE!!! Downside I was at the wedding and everything else for FOUR HOURS. Other then my immediate family I knew 5 other people. Upside it was a beautiful wedding. Downside we waited for 2 hours before we could eat. Upside I found my friend that i used to adore and got to talk with him for a little bit. Downside didn't know he was leaving and didn't get any e-mail or anything.
So needless to say its been a very up and down day. Then since i drove, i left before my parents and when i got home i noticed that there was something other then a cat on my porch. It was definitely a VERY sick possum. Now for those of you who do not know. I HATE POSSUMS ABOVE ANY OTHER CREATURE THAT LIVES NEAR OUR HOUSE! So it was really disgusting and as i tried to get into my house it would start towards me. Being a creature of great common sense I went to get our neighbor to help me out so i at least could get into my house. As i journey over there in my dress clothes and high heels and all the stuff from my over night at my sisters. I find out that he is in the shower. I was at a slight loss... God bless boys. Our neighbor's son came over he is 11 i think, he bravely and gleefully came over because he loves that kind of thing. So then my parents pull in the drive and hysterically start laughing which i think is unbecoming of them and inapproprate for someone of their stature/age. (they do this at least once a week usually at my detriment in an uncontrollable situation)-just setting the scene.
Tyler nudges the possum off the porch and holds it off---so finally i got in the house. A little time later i realize that our neighbor boy has an audience and is having a great time explaining that you should not approach a sick wild animal and such forth and so on. Side note: i have not gone out to see what happened to the possum, nor do i intend too.
That would be my day in a nutshell.
Mike i sooooo get the Pam thing it makes sooooooo much more sense... i think i must be a ditz.
Anyway has Nicki and Bob gotten married yet? Has anyone heard anything from Skye or Shea? They still alive?
Also we had a GIANT tree fall on our house Sunday night. Don't worry we are all still alive. It fell made a Huge boom and shook the house and knocked stuff off my shelves at like 11 at night. It fell kiddy corner which is really a blessing or else it might have crashed into my parents bedroom. So it ruined our eaves and poked some holes in the attic.
Very interesting to drive by our house... it looked much worse then it was. Then some guy came on thursday and took care of it by himself. He is really good and helped us last time a tree fell on our house. My parents really like him and i have to say i was really impressed.
