The
30 Days of Awesome Challenge is to express how fantastic things are and create a giant smoozing love fest.
Okay, how do I discuss myself by not being boastful or arrogant? Well try to be my most Canadian of course! Being nice, northenly and accustomed to cold weather are only minor parts to being Canadian. What I love the most about it how we create an amalgamed 'identity' that is strictly NOT AMERICAN. Now I'm not saying being Anti-American is appealing. It's the feroicty and unity that arises from it. The Junos or the Gemini Awards don't exist as glitz and glamour events, but as cultural focal points. To be awarded there means you have helped shape our culture and this is our thanks to you.
What's also awesome, but might make me slightly robotic? Being an engineer. Yes, I can't wait to get my Iron Ring and get inducted in this flipping crazy cult. But being an engineer trains you to look for trends and patterns. To simplify and model the world and think 'what else does this and how can I use it?'
