Woot WOOT.
So, meikimari and poiyo, my HOMEGURLZ from highschool, started posting regularly. It's been a reminder for me to post regularly. I higly doubt these Twitter updates count as real entries (speaking of which, I need to start tagging them. :/). I've been a lazy kiddo, neglecting to read most of their entries (sorry!). I think I'll start doing that... soon.
The good news is I'm done my essay. And on time! I often don't get along with deadlines, so my goal for this term is to meet them. All four of them. XD Yeah, I've only got two classes.
The REALLY good news relates to work. Often I'd boil water in an autoclave (really a stainless steel reactor/vessel) and monitor it from a laptop ten feet away. IN THE HIGH HEAD. It's generally a groddy environment - the water pump is overhead so it's loud and somewhat irritating), there's an H2S unit right next to me, and there's a ban on food. Mike (the CPC guy) set up one of the desktop computers in the control room to control my unit. I think the biggest plus is the inclusion of internet. These four-hour runs just got a whole lot better. :D Not to mention this keyboard is niiice.
EDIT: I CAN EAT IN THE CONTROL ROOM. NOTHING CAN STOP ME NOW! :D
Other unfortunate things: I have a midterm next week; There's also another essay, but this time it's longer; there's a class presentation involving Slumdog Millionaire sometime next month; and last, but definately not least, my coop term paper about a field of engineering that's interesting. I've got my mind set on Building Services/Science. Now I just have to join ASHRAE and get-a-going.
That's just the school-side of things. I also plan to blog about once a week, continue to troll the internets (but maybe I'll mute it down a bit), I need to get back into doing them Maths (eight months of no math is killer), I'm also compiling a list of Comics worth reading for Amanda. And anyone else for that matter. It'll include some good stuff, some mediocre stuff. Mostly about the industry and how Superheroes 'work.' EVENTS, I'M STARIN'AT YOU.
Bonus yipee: I geeked out with my English prof over the Watchmen. Good times, y'all. Good times.
