I am looking forward to Erika Toda's new drama Keizoku 2: SPEC. It started airing yesterday. Check out the trailer.

She is Touma Saya, a weird woman and genius with an IQ of 201 who always has her left arm in a triangle bandage and never stands straight. "About 3-4 years ago I realized that while I need to have pride as an actress, I don't need any kind of womanly pride for acting," Toda was fully motivated about her role. "The director gave me instruction like, 'I want you to pick your nose'. Of course it was a bit shocking at first, but no matter what filthy or cruel things he wants me to do, if he requests it, I'll do it," she explained and stated all the fun she had during the filming while not thinking about her image as a woman. [...]

I am also interested to see the movie Villain starring Tsumabuki Satoshi and Fukatsu Eri. They did the drama, Slow Dance, which I love. Directed by Lee Sang-il, it is a heartrending love story of a lonely murderer (performed by Satoshi Tsumabuki) and a woman (Eri Fukatsu) who falls in love with him, leading them to run away together. Fukatsu Eri won Best Actress in Montreal.[...]

Also debuting tomorrow is Reinoryokusha, based on the manga of Shinobu Kaitani the creator of Liar Game. It's about a beautiful psychic who uses her powers to solve criminal cases. One day, Ichiro Taniguchi, on his way to a job interview, crosses paths with Kyoko Odagiri. He eventually ends working for Kyoko after learning of her secret.

Kitagawa Keiko in a movie adaptation of the manga Paradise Kiss with Osamu Mukai (hubby!)

Aaaaand, Ikuta Toma & Aragaki Yui in the movie Hanamizuki which is a story about a couple who constantly think about each other for more than 10 years despite living far apart from each other for a couple of years. Renbutsu Misako and Osamu Mukai are also in the cast and I love them. Watch the trailer! The two leads definitely have chemistry!
