I was watching the news the other night, and an anchor trotted out the "are we ready for a woman president" angle. Really? What year is this? Then there was this analyst who yammered on for a bit about we could have a female president if she didn't have a "female agenda." The fuck? I get that men and women are generally wired different - but I'm not getting how your gender is a failing in any particular endeavor (except maybe peeing your name in the snow - and even then...). Women have functioned on many levels of government (even in Texas!) without screwing things up purely based on a lack of a penis. If you want to make an educated argument about a politician's platform, cool - but if I hear one more person argue that they don't want someone with PMS with their "finger on the button," I am going to stab them in the throat.
In other news, the semester is half over! I am on spring break! Woo! I will be catching up on some stuff and then doing some hanging out with Holly and Will on Thursday and Friday and Leslie on Saturday. I took the TEAS today, and did pretty well, but I wanted to do a little bit better - we'll see if I have time to review some things and re-take it. Class is alright - I have become a little competitive in Micro, and Anatomy continues to suck it up. I like Anatomy, the class is just a pain - professor continues to be an ass, and my lab partner just dropped (dissections=formalin fumes=no good for pregnant ladies).
In general, life is busy, but good most of the time.
