I have become pretty lame since I got home, and I proved this by working until 11 on new year's eve, then coming home and reading in bed.
Ran up to Universal City last night to have dinner with Melissa, who was at home for the holidays. She is hugely preggs. I got to feel a baby elbow, it was wierd. Little Courtney Jean is now turned, and Meliss says she has a tendency to switch sides, regardless of organs squished. Realized that both Dehlia and Leslie C are up in the LA area, but I had to be back down here for a 10am appointment with a Navy recruiter.
Recruiter tried to tell me that enlistment was the best option for me, even with a Bachelor's of Science degree. Ummm...right. She must have caught on to my blank looks, because she then put me on the phone with an officer recruiter (apparently this is a completely different office). So, I have an appointment with the officer recruiter tomorrow, downtown.
I have been a little lonesome as of late, I miss the people who know me...and love me anyway.
