(no subject)
Wow, three week lag in updating. Oh well. Spent the St. Patricks day parade weekend with the fam. My stepmom had the weekend off, so they drove up from Michigan. I love them to death, but all four of them at once is exhausting. My little brother and sister are 10 and 15, respectively, so they fight. all. the. time. Plus, my brother who used to be my little baby boy is now going through his bratty know-it-all phase. Yeah, it runs in the family.
I dragged them to the northside parade on saturday, walking them around half of downtown in the process we stopped off at Michigan Ave, because my little sister loves the shopping. We had pizza for dinner, which was pretty awesome. My little sister wanted to go to the aquarium, so that's what we did sunday. The dolphins and whales are still pretty awesome. When I got home, I pulled on pj pants and set up camp on the couch for some much-needed alone time. On the upside, I did sleep at normal hours this weekend so I wasn't tired this morning.
Sigh. I missed the gang, though - it's really sad, now that I live here, I miss people after not seeing them for a couple of days. Co-dependant, much? :)
