Note to Charlie Weasley

Charlie --

Haha and hoho! Your team will not be beating mine. In fact, you can choose your entire team and I will take anyone left over, Slughorn included! You're too right about Minerva being peeved. She would likely call too many fouls on my team if I forced her to sit next to him, despite it not being her job. She has that type of humour. I will manage, I assure you.

I was certain giving Percy the job to play lord and ruler over us would incite him to want to join. See, I will have deal with Minerva's sabatoge and you will have to deal with your brother's. Never forget the cleverness of a Ravenclaw, Charilie.

In regards to the incident surrounding my currently gorgeous and youthful form - it was half accident, half intended. Let's just say someone should have brushed up on our potion-making skills before trying to spike the holiday punch with vengeance. Fortunately or unfortunately, the majority of the staff was a few decades younger. Bill and I were the only two who did not partake in the cure, for the reasons that we were too embarrassed inebrieated at the time and we didn't want to be anywhere near Minerva or Snape. Snape said there would be side-effects, but I haven't experienced anything negative as of yet, unless vibrancy and energy is considered negative for a twenty-one year old.

I have assumed the same about Bill. I have tried to speak with him on private visits, but he stubbornly insists on being left alone. I've decided it is best to let him figure out he is not at the end of his world by himself. Remus used to and sometimes still does the same thing. Nevertheless, he shouldn't be forcing himself to spend holidays alone. If only there were people who wouldn't mind inciting his anger and pulling him out of whatever hole he's drug himself into.
