1980's female prison break movie?
There was a TV movie that came out roughly the same time as the new color Hitchcock Presents in the eighties. I remember this because I keep confusing it with the "Final Exit" episode, where a woman tries to break out of prison by faking her death.
The story is kind of like the Fugitive, she's running from the law in an orange jumpsuit, and somewhere near the ending, she sees a little girl drowning near a dam, and she jumps in to save them, risking imprisonment. That's the most vivid thing I remember about the movie. She's saving a girl from a river or something, but at risk of going back to jail.
Any ideas?
