Woah.

So today is just another up and down day.

I started out the day by picking up Bobby to go riding around with me. I realized today one of the things that annoys me about him: he doesn't really... well... think. For instance, we were driving a good 10-15 miles down a dirt road when he decides to tell me the junk yard for my side mirror was where we let him drive the station wagon.

Time to back it up.

Yesterday; Dustin, Bobby, and I went to find Bobby a car. We found said car for him: A '90 Buick Century Wagon. Very nice car. I first drove it out of the lot so we could bring him somewhere less hectic in terms of traffic, which turns out to be the "rec center" in my city. Bobby passed the junkyard while he was driving.

This place was a good 15-25 miles away from where we were.

He also forgot to mention when we went to the car lot that he had no money. I'm sorry, but I hate having my time wasted. He should just speak up right away. I know why he doesn't, because I used to have the same problem, but I've mostly gotten over it. That, and he doesn't even know how long he's been working, any of his references for a credit check, ect. I find this rather annoying.

That's ok, though. I got a hold of Wanda from Randstad, who called me yesterday at some time while I was asleep. That, and we eventually found the junk yard, I met up with my old friend Richard who is gonna work with me, we got the mirror for my car, and I got the job at DAS with distribution. Bobby, however, was not eligable to buy the car since he had no credit and no job stability.

Oh, wanna hear a funny story? Well, too bad. You're hearing it, anyways.

I left a note for my dad about my plans for today and in the long run (which consisted of what got done today, my wanting to move out, and my wanting to buy the car from dad), about which dad wanted to discuss with me. While we were talking about me moving out with Dustin, Dustin called. He wanted to make sure I got up in time for my 1:00pm interview with DAS. The ironic thing was I saying how Dustin is a true friend, and he'd help me out if he could. Talk about scoring major points with my dad. I think he's the one friend of mine he actually likes.

So, in the end, I'm left with 40 more dollars, a job, and a newfound sense of respect. I think my life is finally getting on track. I think my family is finally working out again.
