And lo and behold

Mar 02, 2008 09:41

I wake up this morning and here is snow. Granted, it's not as much as what is predicted for Denver 40 miles south but it never is. It's a well known fact around here that Longmont gets but a fraction of whatever is predicted and/or received in Denver, or even Boulder which is just a mere 10 miles away. Boulder has an excuse because it's closer to the mountains (they're right against the foothills), but Denver doesn't have that excuse (although it depends on which random suburb you're visiting but either way they still get more). It's currently 34 degrees (1*C) so it's obviously not stuck to the roads, I looked out and there's just a bunch of puddles in the parking lot. And I get to go deliver pizzas all day long starting in 35 minutes. Speaking of which, I should finish getting ready for work.
