Wow. Summer vacation has finally started. Which means, I'll have some more time for fangirling and reading manga and watching anime and stuff. I was planning to find a job and earn some money, but I quickly abandoned this idea right after the end of the second semester. It seems I have a chance for getting bursary... I guess I'll pass on working. Even if I don't get the bursary, I'll propably have enough money to buy stuff I want. Or, at least I hope so.
Putting work aside, I'm quite happy with my school report xD I was hoping that I'll get the "red stripe" on it, but I've never dreamed about being the student with the best notes in school. That was... Quite shocking, to say at least. My parents are happy, maybe a bit too happy... But at least the bought me a lil' gift for the beginning of summer vacation - the first volume of Ergo Proxy. I hope I'll be able to watch at least the first episode tonight.
Right! I'm planning to watch and read some anime series durning the long break. Right after I find some time, I'm planning to make a list and post it as an LJ entry. After the vacation, I'll check if I managed to watch/read all the series I listed.
Talking about anime... Durning the past month, I saw Peacemaker Kurogane, Jigoku Shojo, X TV, X the movie and Spirited Away. I was quite satisfied with the SA and JS, but the other series were bad/terrible/of medium quality. I'm proud of myself that I survived watching the both versions of X. And the PMK was quite... Unsatisfing, at least for me. Okay, so it has some pretty graphic and sound, the characters are handsome/pretty/cute, but come on, what about, you know, some plot or character development? GONZO, give me a break and try to write something with at least a bit of sense naxt time, okay? Thnx, I'll appreciate it. Like hell it will happen.
Right now I'm watching Code Geass - well, I stopped watching it after the 9. episode, but I'm planning to return to it. It has some nice plot and characters and I enjoyed it, really, but... A bit too much fanservice and... And Lelouch seems to be totally asexual. Or something like that. And Suzaku pissed me off. But I'll return to it. Cause I stopped watching it because of...
Well, Neon Genesis Evangelion. This show turned me into a little girl craving for new portion of her favourite dessert. It has surprisingly fascinating story with nice fights and I like most of the characters. Asuka should be the one to piss me off, because I really don't like the over-energetic girls like her, but I actually like Langley. The relations between all characters are presented surprisingly well - I can almost feel the emotnions in their relationships. AND I LOVE *THE* PENGUIN-SAN. He's so cute <3 <3
I'm going to write the little piece of fanfiction for Sal ASAP, *then* I'll write some stuff for other people. Sorry Darky, you'll have to wait a bit. Gomen. >.>
