Order of the Phoenix and Essay Questions

I'm BACK. I've had a good week. Although my freckles have now abandoned Ron-levels and are making a bid for Charlie-levels. A tad alarmingly.

I saw OotP on Sunday night - wahay! I'll probably post about it in a couple of weeks, when I've seen it again. All I can say is ...

...  Yates said "lyrical and intense". He wasn't joking, was he? I would also add "surreal". I liked it, though. Overall, thumbs up. Best bit - quite possibly, Cedric watching Harry and Cho kiss. Pretty much made my life. Runner-up would have to be Grawp, Hermione and that bell. Worst bit - a tie between "I pity you" and "We've got something they haven't" (was that an exercise in HOW MUCH CAN YOU SQUIRM IN YOUR SEAT IN ONE MINUTE?), although Neville "Much better now they're about to be AVENGED!" Longbottom is a very close second.
The point of this entry, really, though, is to throw up a few things - over the last week, I've reread PS, CoS and most of PoA, and I have a few things I want to spew up, shriek about, use exclamation marks for. Basically, these are things that need to be talked about, and I would like to know what you think.

So. Are we all paying attention, class?

- Harry's career. Discuss.
Auror? Quidditch player? ... Other options?

Quotes you may find useful:

'I wouldn't be surprised if you turn out better than Charlie Weasley, and he could have played for England if he hadn't gone off chasing dragons.'
~ Oliver Wood, PS ch. 10

He'd really done something to be proud of now - no one could say he was just a famous name anymore.
~ PS ch. 13 [after the second match of the year]

'It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.'
~ Albus Dumbledore, CoS ch. 18

- To what extent are the actions of Severus Snape influenced by the fact that James Potter once saved his life?

'Professor Snape couldn't bear being in your father's debt ... I do believe he worked so hard to protect you this year because he felt that would make him and your father quits. Then he could could go back to hating your father's memory in peace ...'
~ Albus Dumbledore, PS ch. 17

'Have you been imagining some act of glorious heroism? Then let me correct you - your saintly father and his friends played a highly amusing practical joke on me that would have resulted in my death if your father hadn't got cold feet at the last moment. There was nothing brave about what he did. He was saving his own skin as much as mine.'
~ Severus Snape, PoA ch. 14

- MRS NORRIS. DISCUSS.

Tomorrow: Lily, Snape, Pettigrew and Voldemort.
