In which I am a slug
Been doing a lot of lazing around since I got back home. Played a ton of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories until I got to a battle with Riku that has been kicking my ass continually. (Stop breaking my heal cards, you little fuck!) Watched a bunch of anime as well, so now I'm all caught up on School Rumble Ni Gakki; also watched another episode of Ouran Host Club and episode 21 of Mushishi (zomg soooooooo good).
Also been playing a bunch of World of Warcraft. Been doing a ton of stuff with Tearless, mainly farming up a metric ton of stuff for the Robe of the Archmage, since the pattern mysteriously dropped to around 100-150g on the auction house over the weekend. Staying up until 5:30 in the morning farming Essence of Water is FUN, really. She also won a Bloodcaller in Zul'Gurub last night, at long last, meaning of course that she has to farm up even MORE essences for a Spell Power enchant. I have everything I need for it now except some Essence of Fire out of the guild bank, since a warlock friend clued me in to the fact that Essence of Undeath cost around 2g each and can be transmuted into Water. The rest of the stuff... well I mostly just got lazy and bought it. Bleh.
Today I'm finally getting off my lazy ass and working on my Raquel costume. I've finally resolved to stop driving myself crazy about it looking absolutely picture perfect and instead focusing on making it look good and recognizable. I've also decided to forgo finishing the cape for now; SoCal summers are way too hot for multiple layers PLUS a cape, so it can be a project for the future. Also skipping out on the gloves for the time being, so the trim on the back piece and making the front piece are basically all I have to do (since the belt is done sans the velcro). Once Raquel is done (hopefully today or tomorrow), I will go out and buy fabric and things for Sheena. :D
