Silly spam title of the day: "masochistic humidify" (Runner up: "rally overt")
Been working most of the day on costumes, except for a brief food-and-Best-Buy break (had to pick up new Dixie Chicks CD, wanted a Death Cab for Cutie CD but they didn't have the right one). Gojyo is about 95% done, I just have to sew on a black overlay on the collar and tack down the tabs on the shoulders. Hakkai is a bit behind, since I have to make sleeves from scratch as the pattern I chose only had cap sleeves. I did hem the sides together last night and started on the trim though. I'd say he's about 75% done for you,
sosiqui. (:
Due to having way too many things to do and wanting to distance myself from some guild drama, I'm taking a break from World of Warcraft starting today and lasting until when I get back home next Wednesday. I was planning on not playing all this weekend anyway due to Fanime, but it turned out that I have my old high school's choir concert to attend tonight, and the season finale of Lost is on tomorrow. And of course the guild drama didn't help... *muttermutter* At the very least this means that I should definitely get costumes done before I have to leave. The only thing that's iffy right now is the giant scarf, actually, which is ironic since I've technically been working on it for a year now. Going to work on it a bit more after I finish typing this and before I have to leave for the choir concert.
One nice thing I want to mention about WoW though... last night at Rag, I requested to be put in a caster group so I could cast Power Infusion on them. Our guild leader, playing his warlock, was in our group. He said that two those Rag fights (wiped the first time) were the only ones ever where he'd stayed alive until the end. I was so focused on keeping my group alive that I didn't even notice that most of the raid was dead the first time... my whole group was quite firmly alive, though. It was funny, because the mages and warlock all said stuff like "Oh noes, we'll be dead before first sons!" and didn't believe me when I said I would keep them alive quite uberly. And quite uberly did they stay alive. I was proud of myself, and they all seemed pretty stoked. (:
Must stop procrastinating and work on stuffs boo. :p
