In which I'm back in Boston and feeling cold
Cross-country flights are kind of boring if you have to take them without a computer. The good news is that DHL delivers on MLK Day and just delivered my computer, with its case unwonkified.
padraiceen and I went to see Brokeback Mountain yesterday, which we both thought was quite good. Unfortunately, I also used one out of two of my only clean turtlenecks yesterday, so it looks like a much less interesting day of laundry is in store for today. Maybe I'll go check the Best Buy for Scrapped Princess 6 as well.
I didn't think there would be an encounter in Blackwing Lair that I hated more than Razorgore and Vaelastrasz, but there is. And it's the goddamn suppression rooms leading into freaking Broodlord Lashlayer. I'm sure that Broodlord would be fine on his own, but those fucking rooms with the crazy fast respawns make me want to kill myself. I actually left the raid before the attempt was completely over because I just couldn't take it anymore. We didn't even get to Broodlord a second time because everyone was taking FOREVER to start up and then we wiped in the first goddamn suppression room. I'm just gonna stick with it for now, but I'm starting to remember why I didn't like BWL in the first place.
Meh, I'm tired and bored. Kinda wish class had started today. Oh well. :p
