Chapter 4Chapter 5Chapter 6Chapter 7Chapter 8Chapter 9Chapter 10: Version A Once they got to his apartment, they began to drink again. Aki leaned on Tatsurou slightly to feel more stable. Although the other always seemed to move around a lot, in the end it wasn’t like Tatsurou wasn’t reliable.
“..Ki?”
“Mmm?”
“Thanks.”
“For what?” Aki pulled one of Tatsurou’s arms over his shoulders; the vocalist wouldn’t explain.
Blinking, the taller man held him close. For a while, the pair sat that way. Aki finished his drink and looked up at Tatsurou. He pat his head and cuddled him a bit.
“What am I, a pet?” The vocalist laughed.
“You know I don’t like pets..” Tatsurou’s face fell slightly.
“What, then?” The taller man asked more seriously.
“A good friend.” Aki muttered.
Tatsurou moved his hair away from one of his own ears; acting like he hadn’t heard the bassist. “Huh? You say something?” He grinned.
Aki; feeling loosened up, kissed Tatsurou’s cheek. He could see a tinge of red hit the taller man’s face after the act. Resting a hand on the other’s face, he moved it to stare at it better.
Tatsurou’s silly face. Someone that tended to joke, laugh, and have a lot of fun. He felt over his lips with his thumb. Those lips that seemed to enjoy teasing him, kissing him; betraying some of his emotions. Those lips seemed puzzled, unsure of what the bassist was doing. He moved his hand from the other’s face and ran it through Tatsurou’s hair. The vocalist stared at him as if he was wondering what action would be best to take next. He nuzzled Aki’s hand a little, and kissed it.
Aki pulled the taller man‘s face closer and bit at his lips lightly. The chain running from his lip to his ear let out a soft ring as Tatsurou responded, kissing back more. It felt to them like an eternity, yet it had only been a few minutes of contact. Aki’s tongue ran along the taller man’s lips, causing a light groan to come from the vocalist as he tugged on his hair slightly, bringing the other closer.
As they took a break, they stared at each other for a while. Aki knew he was at least buzzed; maybe tipsy, but he also knew that this wasn’t like that time with Mizuki. This was different, foreign to the bassist. It wasn’t like he had known Tatsurou as long. There were some similarities; but the vocalist was more around his age. He was a bit less predictable, but there was some underlying darkness and depth in comparison to Mizuki. Like at times Tatsurou goofing off would be a façade to keep others at an arm’s length. Mizuki…it was always real. That wasn’t to say that Tatsurou was a fake..that he didn’t enjoy teasing or goofing off. He just wanted to keep part of himself to himself; just as Aki was often rather quiet. Mizuki would get hurt and tell others; Aki would only ever tell Mao. Tatsurou? Who would he tell? Did he just scream it out, onstage?
Aki chuckled a bit as the vocalist stared, slightly confused.
“…You’re me if I wanted friends and cared more about people. If I wanted to live more with others…” The bassist muttered.
Tatsurou blinked a few times, sipping some beer before responding. “So, you don’t like me because you don’t like yourself? Ki-tannnnnn…” The taller man teased a bit.
Aki pouted slightly, the beer getting to him. “That’s not…” He mumbled.
The vocalist’s face became more serious as he finished his beer. “I know that.”
“I like..being this way. Lives are something I enjoy. Work…designing..even if I don’t express much, it doesn’t mean I’m not having fun.”
Tatsurou smiled warmly. “I know.”
“I feel too busy at times to be lonely…” He murmured, lighting a cigarette.
The taller man glanced at Aki. “That doesn’t mean that you don’t. You just want to follow your own path, but you don’t want to feel tied down.” He grinned at Aki.
The bassist rolled his eyes. “What do you think I should do then, genius?” He teased slightly.
“Loosen up, man. Fall.”
“…And how do you propose I do that?” He muttered.
Tatsurou began drinking another beer. “Let me catch you, obviously.” He chuckled.
Aki watched the smoke from his black cigarette trail off. “Because you like me?”
“…I wouldn’t trust someone else catching you.” He later corrected himself. “..Maybe Mao, you guys are close; right?”
The bassist nodded. “I’ve known him the longest. That’s how it is.”
“…I wonder what would’ve happened, had I met you earlier than him. How comfortable you would be around me..I’m a bit jealous of your bandmates.” He nodded.
Aki finished his cigarette and let it idly let out wisps of smoke from a tray before staring at Tatsurou; bringing his face close again, feeling over his lips with a thumb. The vocalist nuzzled and kissed his hand lightly as Aki played with his lip chain. The bassist poured another glass of wine for himself, sipping.
“You really love wine more than me?” Tatsurou pouted.
“…You’re just fishing for compliments, right?” Aki chuckled. “Just like an insecure person.” He teased with a straight face.
Laughing, Tatsurou drank some more. “Must not be so bad, if you’re still okay with hanging around me.”
The bassist leaned on him, feeling somewhat more tipsy. “…Your voice is like heaven.” He muttered quietly.
The vocalist blinked a few times, a slight blush on his face. “Huh?” Tilting his head, he watched Aki. “You should stop drinking…”
“You can’t tell me what to do; this is my place, after all…” The bassist mumbled, drinking.
Tatsurou nodded. “Yeah, true; but I’m still going to worry.”
Aki thought for a bit, sipping. “Because you like me? Or you’re my guardian angel, sent from heaven to take care of me?”
The taller man’s face went from confused to amused. “So, you hit on people when you’re drunk? Interesting.”
The bassist pouted and punched Tatsurou’s shoulder playfully before leaning on him again. “I’m not drunk.” He finished his glass of wine.
The taller man grinned a bit and pat Aki’s head. “How cute.”
Aki glared, wobbling up slightly. “Shut up.” He wandered to his room, Tatsurou following close behind.
The vocalist held Aki close, keeping him up. “Hey…it’s okay. Sorry.”
The bassist looked up at Tatsurou, leaning on him. “Sorry about that.”
“It’s okay, really.”
Aki rubbed his own head a bit before pulling Tatsurou’s face down and nuzzling him. “You’re a good friend.”
He pushed the taller man onto his bed, pulling off his own shirt. Eyes watched him as he played with his lip piercing before tugging off Tatsurou’s clothes; the vocalist watching him. Aki nipped and sucked along the vocalist’s neck, stroking him with one of his hands.
Moving down, the metal of his tongue piercing met Tatsurou’s length. Groaning, the taller man’s hands reached through Aki’s hair. Aki started sucking slowly, rubbing his hands over Tatsurou’s hips.
“Kiii…” Tatsurou groaned, moving slightly.
The bassist licked at the vocalist’s member some more before moving away, leaving him alone on the bed. The rest of Aki’s clothes came off, pale skin appearing faintly through the dimly-lit room.
Reaching into a drawer, the bassist pulled out a pair of handcuffs. Tying Tatsurou’s wrists together behind his back, he moved onto the taller man’s lap before pushing him down onto the bed more, playing with his lip chain.
“Handcuffs? Somehow, not surprised.” Tatsurou grinned up at Aki, wiggling his arms a bit.
“Mmmm…maybe if you stick around long enough, you’ll see more.” The bassist murmured, staring at the vocalist.
“I’d like that.” The taller man stared back as Aki moved into him; slowly at first before moving harder.
Leaning over, Aki nuzzled Tatsurou; biting at his lips. The vocalist groaned, moving with him as he tried to get his wrists free.
Swaying his hips, the bassist tugged on Tatsurou’s hair, growling lowly. The taller man moaned softly, trying to move closer to Aki before pressing their lips together. Aki reached behind his back, holding one of his hands as he rocked his hips harder, groaning.
His teeth bit the vocalist’s harshly, blood painting their lips as they kissed. The bassist licked along the cuts, Tatsurou’s lips parting. Massaging the taller man’s tongue; Aki began stroking him again, speeding up his rhythm. Breaking the kiss, he bit along Tatsurou’s collarbone before nuzzling his neck and feeling him moan.
Thrusting in deeper, he felt the vocalist’s release spill onto his hands, moving until he followed not long after.
Tatsurou’s hand squeezed his back as Aki looked at him, eyes half-closed. Lips hit his forehead before the bassist moved out of Tatsurou gently. As he began to get off of the bed, the vocalist held his hand tighter; silently begging him to stay. Grabbing the key for the handcuffs, Aki freed the taller man before passing out in the warmth of his arms.
