I'm so tired. Yesterday was just a load of...overloading. My mom and I took Naomi out. She went golfing with her and I went job hunting (aka shopping). My bro did give me a tip on a printing company he goes to that needs production people. I'm going to email them tomorrow after I compile a basic webpage of all my new stuff. I mean it's nothing like they do, but at least I have artistic capabilities. I could even answer phones haha I'm versatile. I don't have my comm tech project though...of my brochure, but I do have my posters. I should make more posters...I like making them. Anyway! so yah.
Yesterday at work was...blissfully busy again. I'm not sure what it is but I guess when compared with the hectic on my own busy days. When there's another waitress or couple of waitresses it's easy to flit around happily. Nothing went wrong and Chelsea and I had the most fun concocting notes for Ariana and Alli! Then the talking overlapsed onto Facebook and then msn where we made a whole new religion! PUNslam! just because we were making bad jokes and the worst puns ever and driving Keith nuts with it. hahaha. I should upload the book of Rev. 0 that we wrote. It really just stems from we found all these pieces of paper with Rev.0 on it. That's all there was and so we made a Book(let) of life and that was pretty much all it said. other than "It's a doozey" hahaha.
Today I hope is just as smooth as previous nights. There seems to be less take out on busy nights.
I kinda ticked one guy off I think. He tried to make a reservation for 8:30 and I told him, as it was quarter to 8 and we were already running low that it'd be in his best interest to come right away, as food was limited. and he goes "Well will you have a table for us or not, it's just two people! How much can two people eat??" and I sorta made a little "eh heh" noise and there was silence and before I could finish the sentence "Would you like me to get you a table anyway?" he hung up on me. Not sure whether I was the jerk, or he was. But in all honesty! Busiest night of the week hands down, we close at 9. Kitchens close at 8:30, chances are...you're lucky if we have water to give you to drink. And I know I go on about this all the time, but people can just be so stupid! I keep telling Tad that we should change the message on the answering machine to "Hours or operation are 4:45 until whenever we run out of food." and put our open/closed sign to "Rice" "No Rice"
