A short story in which Takumi asks for a favor, and Akira's not too willing to help. This is a b-day present for squirrelarmy (*wavewavewave*), but I hope everyone enjoys it.

[gleee] I totally still love it. The love has grown, in fact, now that I've read it over again. ^_^ Curiously -- if you do plan on continuing this -- are they keeping it a secret from Mai? Cos it would be totally hilarious adorable trouble-inducing for her to notice Takumi's bruises and go all super-Mother Hen on Akira. Poor Mai would be so conflicted.

Yay, I'm really glad that you liked it. ^___^ Happy hearts all around. And my idea for a continuation might jump to some ten years in the future; it involves a certain question Takumi asks Akira and a scenario in which he might need to put these talents to good use. ^_~ Me being all secretive and stuff, but if you have time I might ask you to beta-read for me. Just to make sure that my idea isn't total carp.

... Though the mental image of Mai demanding what Akira and Takumi are doing that ends up with them in bruises makes me giggle like mad, so we'll see what I manage to put out. XD

I love overprotective Mai. S'long as she doesn't go all psycho-overkill-dragon. Though hmmmm, that would be FUN AU to see, with Mai vs. Akira over Takumi. I wonder how that would work out... ^_^; Bah, silly plot bunnies.

And hmm, your idea already has me intrigued. ^_^ Sure, if you write it, I can probably beta for you -- my school year is winding to a close, so I think I'll be good with stuff. ^_^ And 'sides, you caught my interest with the very concept of Takumi fighting. Heehee~

I don't read much second person stories because... they're rare! and hard to write well.. but you've got it nailed down pat. I love how you described Akira's thought process in detail... not rushed.. but not slow either... if that made.. sense >__>

It was really really cute. I enjoyed every word of it :D

*giggle* Thank you very much. I've only read a handful of 2nd person stories myself; I'm really glad that this turned out as nicely as it did (I was worried because 2nd person is pretty tough to write well).

This is really good! I too hope your muse is pleased enough to share another part with us.

I love the craft you displayed as well - second-person is very hard. Congratulations, this was fantastic.
