=========+=========

“We are done discussing about the punishment for your offense Kamenashi-kun so please just respect that and leave the school premises immediately.” Akanishi Kousuke almost shouted. He’s always been known to be a cold and firm man. And what annoyed him most is when Kazuya barged in inside his office without notice.

“Please Akanishi-sensei, I beg you. I’m telling the truth! I was not the one to leak the answer key! Please believe me!” Kazuya kneeled down. He’s starting to feel so hopeless. He knew there’s a huge possibility that the university president would not change his mind. In the end, he might have to face the fact that he got expelled for being accused of something he’s not done.

“Kamenashi-kun, no matter how hard you beg me and now matter how long you kneel over there, I won’t change my decision. Students like you don’t deserve to be in my school!”

This time, Kazuya didn’t say a thing. He’s been trying his hardest to convince the president to take back his orders but knowing how firm Akanishi-sensei is, maybe he’s got no more hopes. And just when he stood up, getting ready to leave, the door flew open and the president’s son came inside. -Akanishi jin.

“There’s no need to expel him father.” Was his statement. This declaration caught both Kazuya and the president off guard. “I’ve found the culprit.” Jin walked towards his father and presented him some papers. The two discussed quietly while Kazuya just stood there, immobile. Somehow, he’s starting to feel that there’s still hope left.

After quite some time, Akanishi-sensei finally spoke with Kazuya. “Seeing as my son got clear evidences, I am taking back your expulsion, Kamenashi-kun.” And that was all there is to say for Kazuya to almost cry again- this time out of happiness and relief. He left the office after being dismissed, thanking both Kousuke and Jin endlessly.

Few days after, Kazuya saw Jin again. He approached him and said, “I wasn’t able to thank you properly last time. Thank you so much, if it weren’t for you I might have been expelled. You don’t know how thankful I am, really.”

Jin, who was quite taken aback, managed to nod in acknowledgement and then said, “Glad to help.” And then added, “Are you on your way home? Do you want to have coffee?”

Kazuya immediately said yes, “Sure, my treat!” and then the two headed to the nearby coffee shop.

“So, does Tegoshi have this huge grudge on you for him to actually frame you up like that?” Jin asked as he sipped on his cup.

Kazuya looked down, saddened by the mention of his friend’s name. “I don’t really know. We’ve never fought or anything. I don’t even have a clue on why he’d do that to me.”

“And here I am thinking he couldn’t actually do such terrible think. With such an angelic face, looks can surely be deceiving.” Jin chuckled. And when he got no response from the other man, he decided to change the topic. “By the way, we haven’t properly introduced ourselves yet. I’m Akanishi Jin.”

“I’m Kamenashi Kazuya, two years your junior.”

“Oh really? How did you know?” Jin asked.

Kazuya smiled, “Remember the first time we met each other? Well I kinda got intrigued so I looked you up at the university library.”

“So you know quite lots about me?”

“Well, I got to know your birthday, favorite stuffs and some personal information if you consider those a lot already.” Kazuya said.

Jin gave out a hearty laugh, “Looks like I got myself a stalker.” He joked. Kazuya laughed along and then Jin said, “You know what, I think we can actually go along well.”

And true to his words, after that day the two would often spend time with each other in that café. And somehow, their relationship got deeper.

=============+=============

Pi took the day off to go to Nagoya where, according to Tanaka, Jin currently resides.

“I did not approach Akanishi-san but from what I saw, he seems to be living pretty well. I asked around and got his address and also his workplace. He’s currently working at a car shop.”

If Jin is actually living well, then why hasn’t he returned home?-was Pi’s thought. And today, he’s determined to know why, and if possible, he’s going to bring his bestfriend back.

He parked his car in front of the car shop Tanaka told him. He got off and looked around and then he saw Jin-wearing a plain white shirt and ragged jeans. The latter saw his as well and actually made his way to where he is standing at. When Pi was about to speak, Jin said, “What service can we offer you, sir?” And that took Pi off guard-no, that was an understatement. It took him quite a while to process what Jin had just said. Thinking that his bestfriend is making fun of him, Pi laughed and hit Jin playfully, “What are you saying, Bakanishi? That won’t work on me. You owe me a very detailed explanation on why you still haven’t come back home when in fact you’re doing fine.” He said.

Jin’s eyebrows furrowed on this, “What are you saying, sir? I….I don’t think I know you.”

Pi was getting annoyed, “Jin, I didn’t come all the way from Tokyo just for you to give me that crap. We’re all worried sick about you and you still have the guts to play around with me like that?”

However, Jin’s confused expression did not wipe off. “I’m sorry but… I really don’t remember you.”

At the mention of those words, Pi knew the man in front of his wasn’t joking. “W-what do you mean? You.. You don’t remember me?”

Jin nodded, “Yeah, I got into an accident a few months ago. I have amnesia so…. I couldn’t really remember you.”

Pi was dumbfounded-no, he was way beyond that. “So.. you don’t know me, Ryo and Maki?”

Jin shook his head, “No, I’m sorry.”

“Listen Jin, I am your bestfriend! And you should come home with me!” Pi almost shouted. He didn’t know what to feel. So that was the reason why Jin hasn’t returned to them. He does not remember anything.

“I can’t do that, I have to talk to Kazuya first.”

Pi’s eyes narrowed, “Kazuya?”

“Kazuya. Kamenashi Kazuya.” And for the third time that day, Pi was dumbfounded.

============+============

“I’m home~” Jin announced.

Kazuya’s head popped out from the living room, “Oh! Welcome back!” was his delighted response.

Jin headed straight to where Kazuya was standing and he hugged the latter. “I missed you, Kazu.” Kazuya smiled, it felt so right hearing those words coming out from Jin’s mouth. If only we could stay like this forever, Jin.

“Come, let’s eat. I’ve cooked your favorite dish.” Kazuya led Jin to the dining room. They settled down on their seats and ate. Occasionally they would chat about how their day went and then Jin suddenly remembered his encounter with the strange man earlier.

“You know, earlier, there was this man who approached me. He said he was from Tokyo and that he’s a close friend of mine.” At the mention of that statement, Kazuya almost choked on his food. “I wonder if he just moved? You told me I don’t know anyone from Tokyo and that I lived here in Nagoya ever since I was a child.” Jin added, adding up to Kazuya’s worry.

Kazuya tried to look unaffected with all that Jin’s saying so he asked him, “What else did he tell you then?”

Jin took another spoonful of the dish and the said, “Well he kept on telling me that I should go back with him because my family and friends were all waiting for me back in Tokyo.”

Kazuya’s eyes widen. This is going to be difficult. “At first I thought he had me mistaken for someone else because you told me my parents are both dead and that I don’t have any siblings.”

“What was the man’s name?” Kazuya asked as he gulped hard.

“Yamashita Tomohisa… but he said I call him Pi.” And with the mention of that name, Kazuya’s face paled. He stood up, suddenly feeling chills down his spine. “Do you know him, Kazu?” Jin asked, not noticing his lover’s sudden action.

Kazuya turned his back on Jin, “No. and I don’t remember you knowing a person named Pi. He’s probably a scammer of something.”

Jin tilted his head on the side, “Well, if you say so. He seemed believable though.” He mumbled. And then he finally noticed how Kazuya was just immobile near the sink. “Hey Kazu, what’s wrong? Are you done eating?”

That question made Kazuya snap out of his thoughts and he turned to face Jin again, “Ah.. well yeah. I.. I think I suddenly lost my appetite. Y-You should finish eating yours though.” He said.

Jin took in his last spoonful. “Well, I’m done anyway. The meal was so delicious, thank you.” He gave Kazuya a genuine smile. Kazuya can’t help it but the more Jin becomes sincere towards him, the more he becomes guilty of creating this big lie. Jin, sensing that his lover is, again, engrossed in his own thoughts, stood up and approached him. “What’s the matter, Kazu? You suddenly seemed so distant.”

“Ah. No, well, I was just thinking about something.” Kazuya reasoned out. He hugged Jin tightly, saying “you won’t ever leave me, right?”

He heard Jin gave out a small laugh, “Oh Kazu, of course I won’t. And besides, you’re the only one I have.”

Kazuya stared up to meet Jin’s gaze. The taller man cupped his chin and kissed him tenderly. Kazuya’s arms encircled Jin’s neck as the latter’s found their way on Kazuya’s hips. The younger one’s lips travelled down to Jin’s neck and he suddenly felt Jin flinch away. “Kazu, let me take a shower first. I stink.”

Kazuya giggled, “No you don’t. I love your scent the way it is.” And to prove his point, Kazuya snuggled his nose on the crook of Jin’s neck, taking in his scent.

“Oh Kazu, what do I do with you?” and he caught Kazuya’s lips again. The latter pulled away to say, “Make love to me, Jin. I want you.” And that was all there is to say for Jin to grab a hold of Kazuya’s legs as he propped him up, having him seat on the edge of the sink.

Kazuya took off his own clothes and soon took care of Jin’s too. In no time, they were both left naked. Jin’s mouth found their way down to Kazuya’s body, kissing his neck and then playing with Kazuya’s little nubs with his tongue. “J-Jin..” Kazuya breathed out.

“Touch me, Kazu.” Jin whispered under his breath. He groaned as a familiar hand took hold of his half-erected manhood, thumbing his slit.

“B-bedroom, Jin.” Kazuya mumbled. Jin responded with a moan and soon, Kazuya was listed up to be carried to their bedroom. Jin laid him gently and hovered above him soon after. He kissed Kazuya’s neck again, as his right hand made its way to Kazuya’s back. He inserted a single finger, eliciting breathy gasp from his lover. Soon, two fingers were inside, making scissoring motions to prepare his hole for something bigger.

Jin took out his fingers and positioned his hardened member on Kazuya’s entrance. The latter held onto him tightly as soon as he felt Jin entering him. He gave out a long moan as a low groan came out from Jin’s mouth. “Kazu, you feel so good.” Jin whispered as he kissed Kazuya’s lips hard. The other one responded eagerly. “Move  Jin.” Came the almost inaudible command.

Jin did as told, breathing heavily as he slid in and out of Kazuya’s tight hole. The moment he found Kazuya’s spot, moans of pleasure escaped both of their mouths. He moved until both released their seeds and Jin fell on top of Kazuya, both of the fully spent. As soon as he regained his breathing, he rolled over to his side to lie beside his lover. Kazuya lay on his side, as he hugged Jin. The latter placed a kiss on Kazuya’s forehead as he said, “I love you.”

Kazuya suddenly looked up, shocked by the sudden statement from the other. “w-what did you say?”

Jin chuckled, “I never told you that before because I was unsure of what you are to me. But suddenly, I felt something I haven’t felt before. I love you, Kazu. And I’m never going to leave you.”

Kazuya suddenly kissed Jin on the lips, overjoyed by Jin’s sudden declaration of his feelings. When the kiss broke, Jin whispered, “Now go to sleep, Kazu. Goodnight.” They cuddled closer, and Kazuya could only think: If only you could love me for real, Jin. I love you too, and I’m sorry.

The morning after, Kazuya left early for work. Just as when he’s about to go in the classroom, a voice suddenly called his name, “Kamenashi.”

He turned around to see who was calling for him. The moment he saw the owner of the voice, his face paled. “Yamashita.”

=============+=============

“What did you do to him?” was Pi’s firm question.

“I found him the day after the accident happened. I had him treated and….” Pi cut him off. “Why didn’t you just lead him back to us? Why did you keep him?” Pi asked.

“He’s safe here.” Was Kazuya’s low response.

“What do you mean?”

“Look Yamashita, can’t you just let him be with me? I know things you don’t that might put him in danger, so please, without any more questions, please just leave and never come back. Just tell everybody else that Jin’s dead.” Kazuya said.

Pi’s temper suddenly boiled. “WHAT? You actually expect me to leave just like that?! I am Jin’s friend and he needs to go back.”

“But he doesn’t know you anymore. He doesn’t know that he still has a family. All he knows is that he’s got nothing but me. And I intend to keep it that way. Now, if you really care about your friend then just do as I say.” Kazuya argued.

Pi gave an annoyed chuckle, “You want me to leave Jin to you and to just let him believe in your big lie?! You’re crazy thinking you can keep him forever. Sooner or later, his memories will come back, or if not, he’ll eventually find out that you just made up everything that he knows right now and what’s gonna happen after that? You think he’ll ever forgive you? NO. He would never. Because you kept him from his real identity! You kept him from the people who have been waiting for him to come back!”

“But I have my reason!” Kazuya cut him off.

“Then tell me!” Pi shouted.

“Yamashita, I know you’re thinking that the reason why I want him to stay with me is because of the past. And I’m going to tell you honestly, NO, it’s not because of that. I’ve long given up on Jin. When he told me that he chose Maki over me, I gave up on him. I never even tried arguing with him because I know how much he loves her! But I’m not going to let her have him again. I’m not going to just let him be harmed because of her!” Kazuya said, his fists curling up hard.

Their relationship progressed fast and soon they found themselves in a forbidden affair. Kazuya knew it wouldn’t last, knowing how important Maki is to Jin but he took the risk. He knew it wound end but it came like a blow when one day, Jin suddenly called him to meet up.

He guessed something was wrong seeing how Jin was acting. “Did something happen?” he tried to begin the conversation.

“Nothing. I was just..” Jin was unconsciously fidgeting. “I don’t really know how to say this..” he paused. “You see, Maki and I…. we’re.. we’re actually starting to get serious and I…”

Kazuya gulped. Jin’s cutting their ties. “I want to be true to her so….” Kazuya hated the way Jin talked. He knew Jin’s just trying to tell him slowly but it’s killing him already.

“So you want to end whatever connection you have with me?” Kazuya finished for him.

Jin just had his head low. “I’m sorry.”

It took Kazuya quite long to have himself composed. “I..I understand.” And he was planning to not say anything more. He just wanted to go. So he stood up and was about to leave when Jin grasped his wrist. “I’m sorry. I really am.” He heard the other say.

He freed his hand and muttered, “I know.” And with that, he left. Jin never saw him after that day.

“If I had known about Maki at that time, I wouldn’t have let Jin go. But I only realized that Maki was someone I know very well in the past when I saw her in person.” Kazuya explained.

Pi’s eyes widen. “You… You know about Maki?”

Kazuya nodded. “I know everything.” There was a pause, “and I’m going to tell you everything I know if you promise you’d let Jin stay here.”

===============+=================

It has been 4 months since Jin was missing and Maki couldn’t do anything but to wait for information or news about her fiancé.

“Dad, do you think Jin’s still alive?” Maki asked the unconscious form. There lay her father-her biological father. “I really wish I could do something, or at least look for him, but Hitoshi-san was too strict on me. He said I still need to carry on with the plan even though Jin’s missing.”

She spent hours talking to her unconscious dad. She’s been like this for 10 years, hoping that one day, his father would regain consciousness and will help her get out of her troubles.

Maki stepped out of the hospital room and was just about to leave when a familiar figure caught her attention. And then her face paled. “Pi?”

“Hello Maki. Or should I call you, Yurika?”
