As much as I really wanted to go into work, my boss is making me take tomorrow off so that I can be completely better when I come back in on Monday. I miss work--it kinda sucks. Anyways, I think I'm feeling miffed enough about it that I've done a bunch of research tonight and got some cool ideas. It's nice--hopefully I'll be over my writer's block soon. I think that one of the first things I'm going to do after Jason and I move out and get settled down is get a new laptop. I don't need such a powerhouse, though I'm sure even the cheaper computers out there now are stronger than mine is. I need something lightweight and compact so that it'll be lot easier and a hell of lot less heavy and bulky to just go places and write. I feel like I've been stuck on Chapter Five forever. Shit. I fucking read Chapter Four at school and I can hardly remember what it was about. I don't really want to go back and real all my past chapters though, though I think they're not bad, they just need to be rearranged. Thinking back, David was probably right about starting the book off with the third chapter and coming back to the first and second in little parts in the book. Hey. I need to get my portfolio back from David, now that I think about it. Still. I could pick up my copy of Clare too, and yeah, that would give me an excuse to go back and read my old stuff.
Well, I've got the weekend off. Maybe I'll do some writing. But for tonight, research, lol, because Jason's got the PS2 on lockdown because his Cast's got three luck tonight. Supposedly PSU is giving us a content update tomorrow morning. Supposedly. Sega's so awful they make Blizzard's customer support look like Jesus wrapped in bacon. Shiny, tasty bacon. I'm such a nerd.
