Title: I will always love you
Pairing: Doojoon / Hyunseung

Rating: PG
Summary: There were always disagreements between them but eventually they both agreed on the same thing. (lol, what a summary)

They had both just moved into their new apartment and they got almost everything covered except for a couch. They remembered everything - the cabinet to put up Doojoon’s trophies, the CD racks to stack up all of Hyunseung’s CD collections, a water bed (Doojoon wanted one) and the perfect dining table just for the two of them. Both of them, however, forgot to buy a new couch for their brand new TV.

Therefore, it was at 9pm that they found themselves in a furniture shop, roaming around the couch section. A saleslady glared at them (probably because she was enjoying watching Gossip Girl till Doojoon and Hyunseung barged in) and apart from her, nobody was around.

They went separate ways and walked from one end to the other. They met midway and Doojoon felt like he had found the perfect couch. Hyunseung was also smiling from ear to ear.

“Doojoon, Doojoon, I found it!”

Doojoon looked at the direction Hyunseung was pointing and….

Oh no.

No.

“Nope. Never. No.” Doojoon shook his head like a small little child who refused to go to bed early.

Hyunseung’s smile faded and he pouted.

Oh no.

“Why not? Which one do you want then?”

Doojoon held on to Hyunseung’s hand and dragged him to another side of the aisle.

“I want that one.” Doojoon pointed.

Hyunseung pouted even more.

“Our living hall is kind of dull don’t you think? It’s all white and black and grey and brown. Don’t you think a pink couch will lighten up the whole place?”

Nope not really, it would probably swallow up the whole living hall, Doojoon thought.

“I think pink is a little too bright. Blue is perfect, no?”

Doojoon and Hyunseung stared at each other for ages. Even the saleslady looked up from the television screen. (but she quickly ran away when she saw how intense their stares were)

In the end, they bought two couches. Both of them refused to back out from their argument.

(Whenever Junhyung, Yoseob, Kikwang and Dongwoon came to visit, Junhyung and Yoseob would use one couch and Kikwang and Dongwoon would use the other. Doojoon and Hyunseung always sat on the floor even if it was just the two of them. They were too used to lying beside each other in their previous apartment.)

♥♥

It was early in the morning (too early for Doojoon’s liking but he had no choice) and they were both in the supermarket shopping for groceries. Breakfast was a very important event for the both of them. So, they made sure to get everything they needed. Doojoon was making mental notes to ensure they didn’t miss out on anything.

Bacon, yep.

Bread, yep.

Eggs, yep.

Condom…….yep.

“I think we got every…..oh wait! What should we drink with?” Hyunseung stopped pushing the trolley.

Doojoon immediately said…

“Coffee.”

But Hyunseung also said at the same time, “ Don’t say coffee.”

Doojoon let out a frustrated grunt.

“You do know that I need my daily dose of coffee.” Doojoon tried to reason out with Hyunseung.

Hyunseung rolled his eyes.

“Fine. Fine. Whatever. Just no kisses till the evening.”

Doojoon eyes nearly popped out from his sockets.

“WHAT? WHY?”

(Jeez Doojoon, people were staring at us.)

“Your breath stinks.”

Hyunseung pushed the trolley to the milk aisle, totally ignoring a stunned Doojoon.

“Kikwang and Dongwoon’s anniversary is coming up. We should get something for them.” Hyunseung said one day. He was lying beside Doojoon on the floor while watching Glee.

Doojoon took his eyes off the television to look at Hyunseung.

“Oh dear, you are right! I totally forgot.”

(Hyunseung snorted. “You never remembered any of those dates anyway, even ours.”
HEY!)

“I’m thinking of getting a photo frame for them. Dongwoon loves to take photographs right? He told me many times when we both college mates.” Hyunseung said while tapping his cheek.

“I remember Kikwang said he needs a new bag to put all his gym equipments. We should get that.”

Hyunseung slapped Doojoon’s thigh. (which he regretted later because Doojoon’s thigh was like rock solid)

“We are suppose to get something for the both of them, not just for Kikwang. If you get just the bag, then what about Dongwoon?”

“Dongwoon will be happy because he doesn’t need to carry all of Kikwang’s equipments and risk breaking his arms and legs in the process.”

“I still think we should get that photo frame. I know Dongwoon the longest.”

“And I think that the bag is a better idea because I know Kikwang even longer.”

“Fine. Do whatever you want.”

“Fine.”

(Dongwoon: Just want we needed! Kikwang-Hyung, we can hang the pictures we took in Paris! Thank you Hyunseung-Hyung!

Kikwang: Just what we needed! Dongwoonie, we can put all our stuff in here! Thank you Doojoon-Hyung!
Doojoon: You’re welcome.

Hyunseung: You’re welcome.)

It was their one hundred and thirty ninth night that the light in their living hall went dead.

“Oh crap.”

“Oh crap.”

Doojoon rubbed his temple.

“Get in the car.”

~

“Let’s just grab the same bulb and get out of here. It’s freezing.”

As usual, Hyunseung wasn’t listening.

“Hey Doojoon, why don’t we try this instead?”

Oh gosh, not again.

“What’s this? If we use this, the hall will look dimmer.”

“That’s the whole point. It’ll create a nice ambience.”

“What if I wanna read? It’ll make me have a headache.”

“If you wanna read, you can always go to the other room.”

“What if the guys come over and we wanna play games?”

“I don’t think it’ll cause any problem Doojoon.”

Hyunseung’s tone changed but Doojoon (was too stupid actually) refused to notice the warning bells.

“What if….”

“Just forget it.”

Hyunseung walked out, stormed all the way to the car and slammed the door.

Doojoon flinched.

♥♥♥♥♥

Hyunseung was sitting at the balcony, looking up at the sky. The stars were particularly bright that night. The hall was dark because they didn’t manage to get a new bulb.

Hyunseung swayed his legs to and fro. He hated it when they fought. It felt like a stab to his heart, over and over again. He seeped his milk and let out a sigh.

“It’s beautiful, isn’t it?”

Doojoon took a seat beside Hyunseung. Hyunseung hummed in agreement.

They were silent for a few minutes, the only noise being them sipping their drink.

“Hyunseung, baby.”

Hyunseung stopped swaying his legs.

“I just want to let you know that I don’t regret moving in with you and I’m actually really glad that I made that choice.”

Doojoon caressed Hyunseung’s cheek with his fingers and tucked a few strands of hair behind Hyunseung’s ear.

Hyunseung smiled, a genuine happy smile. He looked into Doojoon’s eyes and all he could see (feel and hear) were love and affection. He took hold of Doojoon’s fingers and kissed them one by one.

“I love you Doojoonie. Always will.”

“I couldn’t agree more.”

(Doojoon leaned closer to steal a kiss but Hyunseung backed away.

Doojoon : WHAT? WHY?

Hyunseung: Your breath stinks.)

A/N: I'm terrible because I reuse one of my previous fic for the couch part and another for the drinks part but it was about cereal box though XD Do let me know if I did any grammar mistakes!
