My thoughts on Megaforce
While I'm reserving most of my judgment on Power Rangers: Megaforce, the all-important 20th anniversary of Power Rangers, I do have a theory on how they'll incorporate Super Megaforce/Gokaiger's tribute element, and why there are Super Sentai Figuarts being released in the U.S. and Canada:

My best guess is that they're testing the waters with the toys. If theses of the toy unreleased Sentai sell, then they'll work the characters into Megaforce. If not, then they can leave them out

In the case of Goranger through Jetman, there ARE no ratings to work off of. They have to rely on toy sales. Are kids and adult collectors going to buy these guys? This will have to be the determining factor of whether or not the characters will be worked into Megaforce
Because editing them out is a risk. It means you've got to shoot more original footage

And it's a safer bet if you're releasing the Japanese Figuarts. You don't HAVE to manufacture a whole line of, say, Jetman toys. You've got the high-detailed Japanese figures. So then you just have some distributor offer it online, which gets the Sentai/PR fans in the West who want them buying because they don't have to spend nearly as much on shipping
