Borobudur

I have been, I know, extremely remiss in posting up photographs on the blog. partly, it's because it's so much more efficient to do it on facebook - no resizing nor manual input of html necessary - and given my aged computer, it is nice to have very hassle free means to upload. compromise: some of the best shots here, and a link to the larger albums on facebook (open to all).

But anyway. Here's some photos from my recent trip to indonesia. I realise I'm often at my best travelling alone: i'm more adventurous, i try to keep track of directions (tho i still wander around), i make an effort to eat local, and i generally surprise myself with my ability to get by - especially since i'm sorta socially inept. this trip was particularly nice: took gamelan lessons, bought instruments, jammed with random groups... all very fun. and i guess its good to get out of singapore awhile to clear my head of some of the things going on here. heh.

was a rainy day. kinda interesting for photographs, but not that great to sightsee
